Since opening in 2008, Atlantis Dubai has been a firm presence on Dubai’s entertainment scene, bringing some of the world’s biggestartists, performers, residencies and DJs to the shores of the Palm Island. From Ibiza’s Palmarama and Black Coffee, to more recently Beyoncé and Swedish House Mafia, the entertainment destination kicked off yet another year with one of the world’s biggest artists.
This was Atlantis Dubai’s debut edition of its 2024 ATLANTIS LIVE series.

ATLANTIS LIVE returned on 11 May with our legendary live music series headlined by globally-renowned DJ/producer Martin Garrix. It was an electrifying performance from one of the world’s most talented and influential DJs, in one of the city’s most iconic live music destinations – complete with a full pyrotechnic show and fireworks display to close out the night.
ON STAGE For this awesome show, I did the calculations and planned the video side. We use Absen screens with a pitch of 3.9, they are controlled by x10 Novastar UHD Jr processors, each processing a 4K signal. Some of the processors are located on BOH, and some on FOH, they are united through SFP modules, optical lines with a total length of about 1 km. For control, I chose the Barco E2 system, which combines playback from the Resolume media server and the Disguise D3 media server. All processing fits into three 4K signals.
